Where to Call for Assistance

If You Feel the Need to Talk

If you feel the need to talk to someone, there are professionals available by phone to help.

  1. For Employees: UA Life & Work Connections, at 621-2493, offers free, voluntary and confidential consultation, short term counseling (if appropriate), and referrals.
  2. For Students: Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) 621-3334 offers confidential counseling services for students. CAPS is located on the 3rd floor of Campus Health Services.

After hours, or if the above services cannot be reached, Southern Arizona Mental Health Corporation (SAMHC) has set up confidential phone counseling at 622-6000.
