Philosophy and Mission

Many UA employees may find themselves caring for their parents and children at the same time. Elder Care and Life Cycle Resources was established to provide programs and services to address elder care issues.

Aging is a life-long process of change, adaptation and transition for the caregiver, care recipient and also families and friends. In support of your caregiving efforts, we provide information, referrals and educational services to employees who have elder care issues. Group presentations and support groups are also available.

Our team will work with you to develop a referral packet appropriate to your situation. This office can also assist individuals and departments in designing work/life strategies that can create a better balance between personal life, work and dependent care responsibilities.

Our mission is to identify and design specialized services that address:

  • the evolving work/life needs of University employees
  • support productivity, wellness and organizational initiatives for the University community
