Work/Life Support

Dependent care and family responsibilities are increasingly interwoven with workplace operational needs and objectives requiring comprehensive, work/life solutions. UA Life & Work Connections serves as a work/life resource for University of Arizona employees and departments regarding: 

  • In Just Five, designed to be read in five (or less) minutes, highlights rotating tips, practical ideas and resources for making our child care, elder care and work and personal life roles a bit easier in hectic times.
  • Alternative Work Arrangements, such as flexible work options regarding the scheduling, location, design, monitoring and evaluation of work
  • Lactation Support such as "Mommy Connections" (a program offering subsidy assistance towards the rental cost or purchase price of a personal grade breast-pump), planning strategies and suggested guidelines for providing breast milk to babies 
  • Campus Lactation Information including a lactation area listing and related resources 
  • Educational Consultations and Presentations regarding current and emerging trends and best practice approaches that address the needs of the institution and its employees.
