Work/Life Support

Dependent care and family responsibilities are increasingly interwoven with workplace operational needs and objectives requiring comprehensive, work/life solutions. UA Life & Work Connections serves as a work/life resource for University of Arizona employees and departments regarding:

  • Alternative Work Arrangements, such as flexible work options regarding the scheduling, location, design, monitoring and evaluation of work

  • Lactation Support such as "Mommy Connections" (a program offering subsidy assistance towards the rental cost or purchase price of a personal grade breast-pump), planning strategies and suggested guidelines for providing breast milk to babies

  • Campus Lactation Information including an overview of campus lactation resources; this section and the map below serve as complementary tools for the University community.

  • Parent-Friendly Campus Map, highlighting Tucson campus areas of related interest such as lactation rooms, diaper changing tables in restrooms and UA Life & Work Connections' office location

  • Educational Consultations and Presentations regarding current and emerging trends and best practice approaches that address the needs of the institution and its employees.
