Unique features of this University of Arizona program address "whole person wellness" through the integration of employee assistance, worksite wellness, child and elder care services, and work/life support to over 14,000 faculty and staff. Select dependent care services are also provided to students. These combined efforts provide a unique life cycle response that enhances employee/student well-being and retention.
A licensed clinical social worker, with 20 years of clinical, managerial, and organizational consulting experience. Applies a health/wellness perspective when educating supervisors and employees on achieving resilience, promoting work/life effectiveness and mitigating risk in the academic/work environment. Presents to national, state, and local forums; serves as an external consultant/educator, research associate, and a faculty associate of the ASU School of Social Work, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources through the HR Certification Institute.
In addition to administrative duties, participates on the UA Campus Emergency Response Team and the Threat Assessment and Management Team. Trained in multiple Crisis Response Models, is a member of the Southern Arizona Peer Support Interagency Team, the Southeastern Arizona Coalition for Healthcare Emergency Response, and a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
