A Life & Work Connections partnership with Planning, Design and Construction, has led to comprehensive UA-wide lactation space criteria for new buildings, building expansion and renovations.

UA Life & Work Connections Earns WorldatWork Alliance Seal of Distinction
The WorldatWork Alliance has awarded the UA its Work-Life Progress 2015 Seal of Distinction. This distinction is awarded to employers in both the private and public sectors that support employees across all major aspects of work-life integration.

UA Life and Work Connections is in the midst of the third annual walk series, Walks with Campus Leaders. A small crowd of UA students, faculty and Tucson community members gathered in front of Old Main for a nice afternoon stroll through the university’s grounds with President Ann Weaver Hart, the featured leader who led Wednesday’s Walks with Campus Leaders.

This report presents an economic perspective on flexible workplace policies and practices. The first section reports some of the changes in the U.S. workforce that have increased the need for flexibility in the workplace.
