As a Dependent Care Specialist, Eileen Lawless provides support and resources to caregivers of adults aged 18 to the end of life and bereavement.

She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work, a graduate certificate, and a Master of Science degree in the Innovations in Aging program from the University of Arizona, and is a Certified Professional Gerontologist (CPG) through the National Association for Professional Gerontologists (NAPG). She has over 20 years of experience working in hospice, skilled nursing, and assisted living communities, specializing in program development, support in memory and behavioral care, and training and quality care for personal and professional caregivers.

Eileen is proud to work with the Life & Work Connections team to improve work-life integration for caregivers in the University of Arizona community, approaching caregiving support through an intergenerational lens, drawing on her specialized training in aging and gerontology.
