The Conversation with Ourselves
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Jan. 13, 2027

When was the last time an hour was just for you? If you're caring for someone else, it's probably been a while. This standalone session turns the lens inward: one honest hour focused on self-care, exploring what genuine rest and support can look like, and space to reflect on stress and sustainability. This one is just for you.

The Driving Conversation
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., Feb. 17, 2027

You've noticed the close calls: a dented mailbox, a missed turn, a story that didn't quite add up. You've thought about bringing up driving, then decided it wasn't the right day. This session uses the 4Ms framework to unpack both sides of one of caregiving's hardest conversations, with practical language for approaching it with empathy instead of ultimatums.

You've noticed the repeated questions, the misplaced words, the moments that don't quite add up. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe it isn't. This session explores how to approach conversations about memory and cognitive change using the 4Ms framework, centering what matters most to your loved one even as things shift, with language and resources for next steps.

Creating a Care Plan: Family Caregiving Conversations
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., April 6, 2027

A plan has probably crossed your mind more than once, whether that's during a routine visit or simply while thinking ahead. But wanting one and knowing where to start are two different things.

This interactive workshop offers a five-step model and the 4Ms framework, plus downloadable worksheets, so you leave with something started, not just something to think about. Offered once each semester.

Safety at Home and Beyond
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., April 14, 2027

A fall. A missed medication. A stove left on. None of these are a crisis alone, but each raises the same question: how do you keep someone safe without taking away what makes their life feel like theirs? This session, closing our What Matters Most series, uses the 4Ms framework to assess safety concerns and find language that protects both safety and independence.
