Move Arizona Walking Groups

Whether you are a family caregiver, a professional caregiver, or caring for yourself, take time to move and connect with others. Eileen Lawless, a dependent care specialist at Life and Work Connections, invites you to take time for self-care by moving!

Walking groups will be available at three locations on campus during each week of Move Arizona (February 26-April 22).

Walking groups are available to everyone, including anyone who may serve as a family, professional, or student caregiver. This walking group can be a time to get your movement in for Move Arizona, connect with other caregivers, or take a break—anything you want!

Show up on the days and times of our walks.  You can always wear sunblock, and bring an umbrella, hat and walking sneakers or shoes.  If you're a member of a Move Arizona team, track your movement. If you aren't, you can still enter your time as part of the Healthy Impact Program (HIP) to earn points for healthy activity and earn up to $200.
