C'mon, let's move!

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services encourages American adults to embrace a lifestyle of movement, recommending 150 to 300 minutes of moderate physical activity each week. Activities like brisk walking, dancing, hiking, practicing yoga, riding a bike, or even scrubbing a bathtub are all excellent ways to stay active.
Move Arizona takes place over eight weeks each spring. Its mission is to empower University of Arizona employees to develop the transformative habit of achieving those 150 minutes of movement. By committing to regular physical activity, you can significantly reduce the risk of chronic health conditions such as depression, diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers, while also improving your sleep.
Let’s come together, University of Arizona, and embrace movement!
